Vartika Singh, LMSW
Clinical Psychotherapist
Sees clients virtually and in person
Education and Experience
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Master’s in Social Work, and Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan. I am a fully licensed clinical social worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan.
Therapeutic Style and Specialty Areas
My clinical work focuses on supporting adults through life transitions, relationship challenges, identity shifts, anxiety, depression, and perinatal mental health concerns. I am especially passionate about working with new and expectant mothers as they navigate pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, changes in identity, work-life balance, and family or relationship stressors.
My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can bring their whole selves without fear of judgment. I believe healing happens when people feel deeply seen, understood, and supported.
My style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and mindfulness-based interventions. I work with clients to better understand their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns while also building practical coping tools for day-to-day life.
I value helping clients develop self-compassion, feel more grounded, and reconnect with their strengths during seasons of change. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to land while also supporting meaningful growth and self-discovery.
