Education

I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2007 at Wayne State University in Michigan. Additionally, I’m a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Professional. I am also perinatal mental health certified (PMH-C) and a certified clinical anxiety treatment professional (CAAPT).

Clinical Experience

I have been dedicated to helping individuals struggling with many issues, including anxiety, depression, substance and alcohol use disorders, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (including postpartum depression and anxiety), infertility, grief and loss, couples (including non-monogamy and polyamory), life-transitions, etc.

Therapeutic Practice/Style

I am passionate about providing the highest quality of care by providing a non-judgmental and understanding space to help clients tackle problems, improve functioning, and improve quality of life. My goal is to provide person-centered treatment utilizing eclectic approaches for solution focused goals. I also value providing exceptional active listening skills, education, and support to clients. My goal is to ensure clients have the tools to competently and confidently tackle their problems outside of the office. We will work to understand your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors and develop healthy thought patterns that set you up for success!
